Everything you get at Flour City Bread Company is delicious, The briochen and brioche sucre, the croissants, the fougasse, the ciabatta rolls, the baguettes, and the apple sticky buns are just some of our favorites. The focaccia is to die for! There is always a line and many restaurants in the area are now serving items from FCBC. C'est manifique!

I did not expect to buy a sandwich. However, the sales person described the French style ham and butter on a bagette so well that I was won over. And I do think it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The bread was excellent, but add butter and ham and it was incredible. if I lived in Rochester, I would eat there every day.

I try not to miss a Thursday morning or Saturday morning breakfast here. I used to order the egg and cheese sandwich with bacon on a biscuit. It's incredible. But now I know better… Choose the role! Bread. Chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate and pistachio croissant. You can't lose. A favorite bakery, and a very hip spot.

Best bread in Rochester, best croissants and danish anywhere. Pains au chocolat are spectacular. Don't be put off by the line. It moves quickly. There are two types of prepared foods/sandwiches - the premade (jambon et beurre) and the ones that are made to order. The menu changes. They usually have breakfast sandwiches, croissants, yogurt with house-made granola. It doesn't matter what you order, or where you eat it (at one of the small tables, or in one of the cafes on either side). It will be one of the best breakfast or lunches ever. The jambon et beurre is ham with European-style cultured butter on FCB's superb baguette.
