I've gone here a few times for lunch and usually order a la carte. Their fish is excellent and perfectly cooked every time with you choice of sauce and cooking method. My favorite is the small haddock (not on the menu, but available, just a smaller portion) with the lemon white wine sauce, nice and light. The sides are a little hit or miss. The green beans were great but their greens were bland and not evenly cooked. Lots of sandwich and low carb options and you can go on the other side and do your meat and fish shopping while you are there. Seating is very casual. You order and they deliver it to the table in a plastic dish.

Most of their meat prices are similar to Wegmans and I'm not impressed with the meat selection. They don't offer much in the way of organic or grass fed. They will cut and vacuum pack your meats to order, which is nice and have some decent specials from time to time.

I like to do takeout for dinner but their kitchen closed at 2pm in the past. Now it's open
Like a regular restaurant. I ordered one of my favorites, Tenderloin Panini and it was
delicious and huge. The outside was over done with black pieces but tasted OK. There was a special on for the day. Apple Walnut salad. Again, very tasty. There were a couple of walnuts that were rancid! Yuck! It comes with a too small side of balsamic vinegar.
I noticed that you can call in your order and pick it up inside or new, Drive up. They need to find a way to let you know when your order is ready if you order while waiting inside.
Parking is in an adjacent lot with handicapped spaces. It is very busy near 5 PM.

It is as many people described..a line for food surrounding a group of chairs at tables..basically like .a mall food court, but you are only able to purchase from one food company. And that choice used to be much better. The lobster bisque is more similar to light pink tomato soup. I have gone a number of times for the fried clam plate and for the fish fry and I will not be going anymore. The last two visits there is a marked difference to the food quality. It is not nearly as tasty or well prepared as it used to be. The fries are still great.

Palmers was a nice change from the types of dining experiences we have experienced recently. It is basically a group of tables surrounded by market. Both the beef and seafood looked great. In my opinion everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection. The seafood chowder was second to none, and loaded with seafood. The scallops the best I've had. The batter on fried food is both interesting and delicious. The service is great! Every employee seemed to take great pride in his or her work. It is a bit pricy, but in my opinion well worth it! Enjoy!
