Rhinebeck has many restaurants and I consider this as one of the better ones! You'll have to look for it since it's not in the center of the village. It's an easy walk from the various parking lots in town if you can't find a spot in Bangers lot. The food is very good and well-presented along with excellent service. The prices are above average, especially for the appetizers but typical for this town. The menu is limited, but the selections are excellent. More than just pub fare is available, but the menu is not as extensive as a restaurant's. My favorites are the Fish (Cod) and Chips and Smoked Salmon Quinoa. This establishment has only been open for 6 months so things are still evolving. Good weather seating can be found outdoors in a patio area in addition to the ample indoor table seating. Bangers has begun to have live music on weekends and hopefully this will continue into the Spring/Summer months. As it's name implies, the Gastropub has an excellent selection of craft beers with many local varieties offered. Much of the food items are also locally sourced.
Unlike other 'pubs' in town, Bangers is quiet and it's easy to have a conversation. It's definitely a place to check out or return to!
