If you are visiting the Finger Lakes, Wagener Estate is a wonderful place to stay. The home has been beautifully restored by the hosts, George and Maryanne, sits in a lovely private setting next to a historical graveyard in walking distance to Penn Yan's downtown area and lake path. Rooms are large and attractive. The front porch offers a wonderful place for long conversations. Breakfast was incredible.

Room tip: Wagener Suite was dleightful.

Maryann and George are wonderful and warm hosts who make you feel right at home. The B&B is an old historic home that has been artistically and tastefully decorated by Maryann. And then there are the breakfast! Oh, my. Scrumptious food! You can tell she loves to cook.
George is a wealth of information about the area and history of the area as his distant relative was the founding father of Penn Yan.
I very highly recommended this

A delightful and relaxing stay in a beautifully decorated home. Very comfortable, felt right at home. Large breakfasts served on the front porch, a perfect setting. Plenty of coffee, water and tea available throughout the day/evening. Homemade treats available as well. Lots of grounds to walk around and plenty of chairs if you want to sit.

We love adventures and Maryann and George delivered a great one for us. The Wagener Estate was purely perfect for us. The location, HISTORY (make sure you ask George), cuisine, coffee, hospitality, awesome Finger Lake suggestions, cleanliness, decor, desire to please/accommodate...etc was truly perfect for us. We intend to return with friends and family and fully book the entire B&B so we and our loved ones can create cherished family memories.

My husband and I can not say enough about this bed and breakfast! Our room was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were culinary works of art using only the freshest farm to table products. Our hosts George and Mary Ann were determined to make our stay outstanding. They are warm and friendly and provide you with the history of the Estate, great stories of the area and their plans for the future. They helped us plan a day of visiting wineries, shopping, and eating great food, that will be remembered and was greatly appreciated!
