This location has had several identities over the years. This is the first time that a restaurant featuring Mexican food has been there and I hope that it lasts. It is family run but local people and has some interesting choices on the menu. The service is friendly and efficient. The presentation of the food is done with care (you eat with your eyes as much as your mouth) and is very creative and flavorful. A nice feature is that they open at 9 AM with some breakfast items and serve them until dinner starts at 7 PM.

Don't come in expecting the usual predictable Mexican menu suspects. In addition to some familiar items, more creative combinations are on offer. Some items are very much breakfast-like. Entree prices are in the $10 - $13 range, with a ribeye/fried eggs selection for $18.
After numerous failed establishments at this address, a worthy effort at success appears on the scene. With experienced chefs from a nearby solid, long-established restaurant, Tio's promises reliable quality.
All food was very fresh, with no hint of the crusted-over microwave treatment.

Opened recently enough that they don't yet have their liquor license, but their kitchen is open. The staff is friendly and helpful, and service was very good. The food holds promise so we will definitely go back. my wife's carniatas were very good although the pineapple flavor did not appeal to me. my fajitas were fixed differently than i have ever had them; they were wet, like they had been stewed. we shared a flan for dessert that was yummy. we will visit again in the near future
