This is everything you could want in a B&B. The views are spectacular. The facilities are excellent - lovely bedrooms with private balcony / porches + beautiful beach and deck + nice kayaks + nice bicycles. Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. Wonderful breakfasts - the eggs Florentine with home made Hollandaise and a wonderful mix of home grown Swiss chard and squash were truly memorable.

We're definitely going back!

My husband and I are not really B&B fans. Before coming here to Silver Strand we had a hard time remembering when we had last stayed at one. Staying here reminded us of all of the charms we have been missing! We had wanted to visit the Finger Lakes for many years and found this place online. It was exactly as advertised -- welcome news in this day and age. Maura, our hostess, was ever smiling and most welcoming and usually busy cooking us the most delicious breakfasts we could have asked for. Fresh fruit, egg dishes that were as novel as they were perfectly cooked. The rooms were lovely, we stayed in #3 which indeed had a beautiful balcony with two recliners and a STUNNING view directly out over the lake. The beach is a rocky one so swimming was not the best, but Maura had a basket of beach shoes that helped. The best part though was the relaxation we enjoyed. The dock has four Adirondack chairs at the end and my husband and I very much enjoyed sitting, reading, fishing and chatting there with other guests. It was exactly the respite from our busy go-go 24/7 lives that we were seeking. The house itself is lovely, it has a casual sometimes mismatched elegance that simultaneously makes one at ease and in awe. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Room tip: Rooms 2 and 3 have best views of the lake.

We are generally not B&B people but we only had two nights to visit the Finger Lakes area and we wanted waterfront. This is a very pretty little spot, on the water. The hosts are friendly and helpful and Maura is a great cook, the breakfasts were wonderful. The vineyard boat tour leaves right from their dock so it was easy. All in all, a very nice experience.

Maura and Skip were wonderful hosts. The rooms were great and the breakfasts that Maura prepared were better than great. And oh by the way, the view - classic NYS Finger Lakes. And we didn't even get to take the wine tour boat trip. Next time.

Our stay at this Bed & Breakfast was amazing! Met up with an old college friend to relax and catch up for a few days. We had a cozy room with a great lake front view. It was a wonderful location right on the water - we watched the sunrise and sunset from the porch connected right to the room. Lots of wineries nearby. Great place to take a bike ride or go for a run and then enjoy your morning coffee by the water. Even walked down the road for a tasting at one of the wineries while we were there.

We will definitely be going back!
