My friend and I stayed at the Junior Honeymoon Suite in January 2020. We had the best views with zero obstructions and with no one above and behind us. There's a hot tub right outside and a table for us to enjoy the view over a glass of wine or breakfast. In the evening, it's walking distance to the favorite site to watch the famous sunset. You can find plenty of shopping and food along the way to sunset view.
Angel Cave House may be small, as the name implies 'cave'. It has everything you need for your stay... dining set, kitchenette, a tall cupboard, a room with queen size bed with TV and 2 side tables. Inspite of the limited space, and a nice size full bathroom. It's a family owned and managed by primarily by Soula. She literally did eveything from cleaning to serving to booking service to issuing receipts on check-out. She did her best in spite of her crazy schedules.
Getting to Angel Cave House is a different story. It's not easy to find hence instructions was to call them first upon arrival. Or, ask any construction workers around that area, they will be able to show you the way. It's all down hill rocky stairs. Small carry on size or backpack would be easier to get around.
When in Santorini, don't be surprised that you will most like be advised not to flush toilet paper into the toile to avoid clogging up pipes on the island. :) Certain places may not have toilet paper. So, please add tissue paper to your packing list.
We love Angel Cave House and will definitely stay here again.
