“Needs a revamp”
Reviewed 27 August 2012 via mobile

This is my third visit, the last being 6 years ago. The Hotel is ideally situated near to the town centre and beach. Sadly it is now rather dated. The room smelt damp and lacked any mod cons. Get rid of the blankets and horrid pillows and invest in some nice white linen and duvets. Good bathroom with corner bath and powerful shower. No tea and coffee making facilities, why can the French not do this?! Breakfast is the normal French fare of croissants, bread, meats and cheeses, perfectly adequate but the drinks are never hot. The 'hot' chocolate would be delicious if it was actually hot!!
The staff are fabulous and efficient.
Great location with ample parking but some investment needs to be made on the rooms to bring them up to date.

The room was very nice and all colored in blue! The room was new but in an "antique" style, very nice. The price of the room was good. The price of the breakfast a bit high. The hotel is very near to the centre and the sea.

The lady at the hotel waited for us until 9pm to allow us to check in. The room was small but the bed was big and comfy. Typical French style decor, lovely big windows and amusing wallpaper. Marble bathroom - cold floor but well planned out. Breakfast was adequate, in the charming dining room. It wasn't very modern but it didn't need to be, sharing the same spirit with Etretat itself - remote, romantic, natural and very special.
