I was really excited to try this place, however the burger fell short for me. My medium rare burger was delivered to me tough and overdone. With the $12-$15 price tag for a burger, I was expecting the burgers to be huge and juicy. Unfortunately, nothing lived up to expectations. Large menu and eclectic decor, but the burgers are overpriced and not worth the money.

This is the perfect go to place whenever you feel like a burger and a beer. Their menu is impressive for such a small establishment. Don't worry - they always find space for you to sit! There is music on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is always delicious, with an attention to detail not usually found in a burger place. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options also, which my husband attests, are very good also.

One of my buddies from college introduced me to this place and I'm in love. The burgers are fantastic--so many options, too! And of course, with good burgers, good beer is a must--and Wherehouse delivers! A great combo with a funky atmosphere and friendly staff that leaves me satisfied with every visit.

Reviewing the wherehouse is like reviewing my own living room. I can't even pretend o be impartial. The owner Dan Brown has created an environment that is so warm and welcoming and the staff are so fun. Add to that the delicious food (especially the burgers) and the mid week specials (taco Tuesday, wing Wednesday, Mac daddy Thursday) and you can't do better in finding a comfy environment to hang. The weekends often bring lots of love entertainment. All the bands are talented though some can be a bit to loud for this small venue. Over all, if you aren't at the wherehouse, you're in the wrong place.

They say you can't judge a book by its cover. If that is true, you don't want to judge the Wherehouse restaurant by its exterior, for to do so would be a mistake. We went there to celebrate the graduation of a newly commissioned West Point graduate, Class of 2017, and were pleasantly surprised when we walked inside. The entire place (walls and ceiling) is covered with old vinyl records. Very interesting décor. Great hamburgers too. It's a place where locals gather for good food and to select a beer from a long list of brews. If you are visiting Newburgh you might drive by this gem, but the locals know it's a great place. So do like the locals do -- stop here.
