A great local lunch counter. Enjoyed the Texas weiners and fries. Very cool old school type of place. Definitely a stop for me whenever I am in town.

I was told that this place was 'basically the same as Dallas in kingston'. NOT TRUE. Sauce is sweet not spicy, they use cheap yellow mustard, and the hot dogs had a funky taste. Dallas is definitely the best sauce around. PLus the place looks dirty, like they never clean.

If it wasnt for the secret onion sauce this place would be deserted! Now the sauce taste different and they stay giving you half cook cheap hot dogs. I think they own a place that is known for hot dogs but they don't understand the concept of a hot dog! Hot dogs must cooked as they are made of different types of meats combined in order to get the full flavor...they must be cooked!! Then the grumpy old men who work the grill for years...never a smiling face in years! I am not the first many of the town complained of the nasty attitudes....SELL THE PLACE to someone who would APPRECIATE THE BUSINESS!

Stopped here for a Texas Hot Dog to go and found the place as I was last, over 20 years ago, run down and dirty. Looks like the menu board is the same along with the prices.

It's in the local HBO film Mi America! But the food is horrible ...much more interesting local places to eat in City of Newburgh. I like Blu Pointe down on the waterfront.
