Fresh , fresh , fresh, excellent raw oysters, great selection of very fresh fish, prepared to your liking. Sides are good too. Staff is friendly and efficient. Wonderful selection of shellfish and fish in their market for takeout.

Still can't quite categorize it as the "best seafood restaurant in the Hudson Valley", though it could be; I need to see more first. BUT our family group made some new menu selections which went down well. Most interesting was a dish they call "bouillabasse" which contained an interesting assrtment of fish and shellfish in a light sauce. It was less soupy than the french versions I have had before that was good for an entree. We ordered a vegetable side dish which turned out to be nicely grilled asparagus.

Loved the nautical ambiance in this small and intimate seafood restaurant. My boyfriend's Chilean sea bass was served with two sides and all were excellent. My 2 lb lobster came with delicious clams and mussels and though the lobster was steamed correctly and very tender however the flavor just missed... hence the 4 stars rather than five. I guess sometimes lobsters are just sweeter and tastier than others.
I was impressed with the fact that my Coors light was only $3.00 and we took what looks like a delicious chocolate/peanut butter torte to go for just $6.00.
A really good restaurant worth returning to.

Don't let the lack of ambiance fool you. This place is THE place to go for fresh seafood. The service is consistently good. Reservations are recommended during busy times.

The lobster bake is well-priced and is cooked perfectly. This is the best place to eat seafood in the area- the kitchen knows how to deliver expertly prepared and cooked fish dishes.
