Went here for drinks the night before St. Patricks day. It was very slow that night as they were gearing up for a very busy next day of business. I love the look of the bar inside this restaurant. The bartender was very friendly and it had a nice atmosphere inside. Unfortunately I did not have any food while there so I cannot comment on the food here.

The sports bar to go to in New Paltz. TV's all around and the friendliest bartender! Great idea to stop by for a game, or a drink

We recently returned to Shea's for the first time since Mahoney's took over the management. We were there with another couple for drinks and dinner. The bar service was very slow - it took 15 minutes to get our drinks which was unsatisfactory given that the bar was half full and and only a few tables were occupied. Our meals were just ok - again the kitchen was slow and we got our meals before our salads arrived. Our server was friendly and apologetic for the speed of the bar and the kitchen. Overall their was nothing special about it. It used to our favorite restaurant in New Paltz when Garvin was the running it.

We went here for lunch and it is a real find in New Paltz. The burger was perfectly done as medium rare with generous and tasty well cooked fries. The 1/2 rack rib appetizer was awesome. Six meaty and terrifically seasoned ribs...5 star appetizer in flavor and size. The total bill with excellent was $32.00. The service was attentive and pleasant.

The only down side was the Irish music was a bit loud and not everyone's taste in music.

We had dinner at this restaurant with our granddaughter and all of us really enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere is great, the food was very tasty and the service was outstanding! If we make it back to New Paltz, NY, we will definitely dine at this restaurant again.
