“Shame on you Jetblue”
Review of JetBlue

Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Jetblue should be avoided.
When booking be aware that if you book as we did through a third party, (Love Holidays) you will appear to be choosing seat numbers, however on checking with jetblue no seats have been allocated.
Seats will only be available to choose 24hrs before the flight, unless your pay a rather high premium, which if you are a family group of 6 with a child is the only way to assure being seated together, and only then in rows of 3 separated by 4 rows as there is little choice even when paying.
As stated we had paid for our flight but had to pay a futher £835 for 2 sets of seperated rows of 3 seats together. Despite paying an exorbitant amount of money (On the outward bound flight 3 of the seats were at the emergency giving very little leg room and no room for the small hand luggage that is allowed placed under the seat in front.
The included meals, a new chilled menu with little choice, cold frittata, carrot cake, chopped fruit, overnight oats, yogurt, salad all overly seasoned with herbs and spices is virtually inedible, certainly unpalatable for children, and is in fact very unappetising for adults, particularly If you are on an approximately 9 hour flight where you are already cold.
It would be better to be allowed to purchase warm food or not eat at all compared to how much waste there is with this unpalatable food.
The snacks which you can help your self to are utterly tasteless and judging by how few people help themselves an utter waste of time.
An utterly dismal beginning to what should have been the start of a holiday of a lifetime in New York .
Shame on you Jetblue

Here I am to express my disappointment with the service my family and I received during our recent flight with JetBlue, flight B6353 (Confirmation: WICEXK). We were traveling with my husband and our two young granddaughters, ages 5 years and 1.5 years, and unfortunately, our experience was far from the standard of care and hospitality we have come to expect from JetBlue.

From the start, the flight attendants were unwelcoming, particularly in their interactions with my granddaughters. Although the girls slept through most of the flight, they were awake when the snack cart came by, and I simply asked the attendant what options were available. The response I received was unexpectedly rude: the attendant asked if I had not listened to the announcement, walked away, and then made an announcement on the speaker, saying that she had already provided the options and would not repeat them. Furthermore, she stated that if anyone else asked for the options, that person would be required to pick up all the trash on the plane.

When she returned, she asked in a confrontational tone, "Did you pay attention now?" I calmly provided our selections and requested water and a snack for my 1.5-year-old granddaughter, but the attendant refused, saying that as a “lap infant” who didn’t have her own seat, she was not entitled to a snack or drink.

Never never never again. Got to the airport 2 hours before the red eye flight and there was no staff at the baggage claim. Boarded the plane on time at 11:10pm PST and was deplaned after 1 hour on the plane moments after being told that there was a 40 minute delay for mechanical issues. 4.5 hours later (4:30am) they canceled the flight and rescheduled it for 16 hours later. Returned the next day for the rescheduled flight and they were delayed again by 1.5 hours. The second delay caused a missed connection of which was rescheduled already once. This entire process has shown that JetBlue has a lack of communication, urgency, and courtesy for their customers. A flight voucher does not give time or money back. Don’t ever fly unless you have nowhere to go and 4 days to get there.

I have traveled many times with JetBlue and mostly they wait until the end to announce that they are always full for luggage and I travel normally with bags because I hate checking my luggage because of the waiting time. Today they made me check in my bag with no other option, no compensation and I’ve been waiting almost 30 mins to get my luggage. Always the same thing. Never organized!

My wife is in a wheelchair, she needed an aisle chair to get off the plane, so we had to be the last ones off. We were late for our connecting flight, the video board said "doors closing". The captain overheard me say that, so he accompanied us to our next gate to make sure we got on. He didn't have to do that, but I sure appreciated it. I just wanted to say thanks. This was on Saturday 11/2 at about 9:00pm at JFK, we were late coming in from Aruba and needed to catch a flight to Syracuse.
