We've stayed here many times. A modern hotel with an old world feel. Wide hallways, big rooms, very comfy beds, walk in showers. Its close to restaurants and shops of Lewiston and lots of rooms have a river view. Only one of the carparks has steps up to the hotel fyi. Staff are always helpful with a can-do attitude. Absolutely recommend this hotel because its individual, charming, clean, friendly. Plus they have milk in the room for coffee! Rare in North America !

We stayed here for two nights and I have to say that I was impressed. The price can't be beat! The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the charm of the historic building just brought it all together. I would definitely stay here again! The only downside was the breakfast. It was very simple (mini muffins, waffles, cereal) but still not terrible. If you are visiting Niagra falls, the 15 minute ride to Lewiston is worth it to stay here.

Can't say enough about this great hotel...from the instant communication to questions via email...to the very friendly front desk staff upon check in and check out--you actually sit at a desk to check in -- how quaint...to the sparkling clean room and bathroom. We had a huge king river view room for which the staff matched the price of booking.com...didn't expect that--how nice of them. This hotel overlooks the river, the character of the hotel with it's woodwork throughout, plank flooring and electric fireplaces in guest rooms...just beautiful. It is walking distance to great restaurants--try the Brickyard...excellent. Parking is free and easy--parallel on the street in front or 2 paved lots just a very short distance in front also. There are 2 areas for sitting and enjoying the outdoor scenery--one at ground level entrance in midst of landscaping and one on the second floor...very scenic to the river view. Our main reason for visiting Lewiston and this hotel was walking distance to Artpark--this wonderful hotel, Artpark concerts, and the friendly people of Lewiston are all a hidden gem. We will definitely make this a traditional summer destination.

Lewiston is a beautiful place with easy access to all the local sights. What a lovely stroll thru the Village. This hotel is a fine place. A little on the old side, but hits the spot. Staff is helpful and receptive. Free breakfast is OK.

I have stayed here several times over the past five years. I always leave with the same impression, something is missing. During our most recent stay, we were as always greeted by the friendly and attentive staff. Once checked in, we went to our room. The rooms here are, for lack of a better term, somewhat spartan. Minimal, but somewhat functional furnishings. The room itself was clean but bland. The next morning, following a walk through ArtPark and Lewiston, we had breakfast in the lobby. A limited variety of store purchased baked goods, cold cereal, instant oatmeal and fruit, with a toaster that did not function.
For me, Lewiston is a remarkable town, and the hotel should take advantage of the local bakeries and businesses to showcase the area rather than relying on bland, over the counter food. I have stayed many times at the Giacomo in Niagara Falls, and everything that is missing here, including better accommodations, breakfast and attention to detail can be found there for the same price. This hotel is truly a diamond in the rough, but that rough in my experience has been around too long.
