I stayed at the Kasbah Taborihte for two nights as part of a tour group. The guesthouse is located inside the stunning Todgha Gorge. Staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious and good value. The rooms were basic (small, no shelving, no shower curtain, no wifi (only the lobby area), and the giant decorative pillows were not needed in such a small space). But overall the accommodation was fine. Recommended because of the amazing setting and peaceful ambience.

OK hotel as part of our Intrepid tour. I was so happy they provided porters to lug our bags across the bridge from the road. Our room was just fine. We asked for air conditioning to be turned on so they came to do it for us but would only set the temperature to 24C which to us was way too high, was asked to set it to 20C but they told us 24 was good enough.
The breakfast was OK nothing special. wifi was very slow and only worked in the lobby/breakfast area. Pool looked OK but we did not use it. The highlight of the stay was Speedy, he was everywhere and provided good service with a huge smile all the time. As is typical no elevators in the place so you needed to lug your bags up to the rooms. Nice location for a quiet nights rest. Dinner was pretty good but after coming from the desert the day before for some reason I was not overly hungry.

We stayed here for one night as part of a road trip between Marrakech and Erg Chegaga organised by Caravane de Reve. The rooms are quite basic but the toilet is adequate and the property is well maintained and clean. The architecture and setting of the property is quite lovely to look at. The property is on the path of many road trips and tours so I wouldn't recommend it as a base for longer than one or two days. However, for a couple of days, I think it's quite comfortable. There is an outside pool if you are brave enough to jump in. The food was quite nice and breakfast was sufficient.

Room Tip: Wifi is free and available on the ground floor.

We stayed here as part of our Intrepid tour & think the reviews by S340466 & NickyT sum up this place fairly well.

Regarding the hot water issue, I had a good & bad experience but the water warmed up after a few minutes.

Also the WIFI worked fine in the brekkie area but slowly on the 2nd floor.

Speedy really is a legend!

The hotel itself is stunning from the outside, traditional Moroccan rammed earth style with a swimming pool and outdoor area. The room was a little less glamorous, and you needed to let the water run (hand held shower no less) for about 10 minutes before it would get warm as it is powered by fire somehow. The first time I actually gave up on it and thought it wasn't going to get warm, and had almost finished by ice shower by the time it warmed up, so was able to defrost again. Breakfast had the roti and jam that seemed relatively standard for Moroccan hotels, but also included boiled eggs, omelettes and exotic things like cucumber if you weren't heading out for an early morning hike. The hotel faces walls of rock, which is beautiful to watch as the light changes and the staff (particularly Speedy who has been mentioned a few times here) were amazing. We were travelling in a group tour and on one of the nights we were treated to African drumming and singalong, and the ladies from the kitchen even joined us which is apparently a rare treat. One of the most fun nights of the trip.
