We stayed here as part of our Intrepid tour & think the reviews by S340466 & NickyT sum up this place fairly well.

Regarding the hot water issue, I had a good & bad experience but the water warmed up after a few minutes.

Also the WIFI worked fine in the brekkie area but slowly on the 2nd floor.

Speedy really is a legend!

The hotel itself is stunning from the outside, traditional Moroccan rammed earth style with a swimming pool and outdoor area. The room was a little less glamorous, and you needed to let the water run (hand held shower no less) for about 10 minutes before it would get warm as it is powered by fire somehow. The first time I actually gave up on it and thought it wasn't going to get warm, and had almost finished by ice shower by the time it warmed up, so was able to defrost again. Breakfast had the roti and jam that seemed relatively standard for Moroccan hotels, but also included boiled eggs, omelettes and exotic things like cucumber if you weren't heading out for an early morning hike. The hotel faces walls of rock, which is beautiful to watch as the light changes and the staff (particularly Speedy who has been mentioned a few times here) were amazing. We were travelling in a group tour and on one of the nights we were treated to African drumming and singalong, and the ladies from the kitchen even joined us which is apparently a rare treat. One of the most fun nights of the trip.

The decor was stunning, our group enjoyed the common area with the fire place. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Warm water for showers are always a plus point. And the staff at Kasbah Taborihte were amazing! Speedy is a legend! If you are here more than one night - do laundry here - cheap and efficient!

Stayed here in late December. The place is just a large refrigerator and often in shadow. They don't permit the room heater to be activated until 7pm, and there is often no hot water.

The bedsheets are not washed between guests - ours had a heap of sand and hair in the end of the bed where the previous guests unwashed feet would have been (probably unwashed due to the lack of hot water).

The hotel is also down some stairs, across a rickety bridge, and back up the other bank. So it wouldn't be suitable for guests with poor mobility.

Wifi is only in one of the eating rooms but is too slow to be usable. There is no cellular access using maroc telecom in this valley.

Not recommended.

Our driver got us here as part of our movement ..and we weren't disappointed .
We were a last minute inclusion in private tour and hence had to pay full.cost which includes dinner..and breakfast .
Approximately 420dh for two people including dinner ..
Property has swimming pool
.large clean spacious rooms .
A separate dining area where they serve common breakfast which is served everywhere almost .
Olives .pancakes..preserves and boiled eggs..the lovely bread ..actually;for us it almost became a habit throughout our trip in Morocco coz it was so expected .
I almost was craving the same once I returned to india.

Dinner wasn't bad as expected ..their portions are really huge .
They served us kefta with egg tagine and olive tagine in copious qty as special request ..
We had wine at additional cost and spent a cosy night by the swimming pool having hookah with friends ..weather being a plus .
However ;I suggest skip the dinner inclusive plan and ask for the breakfast only

It's always nice to.hop over places more known for food and have ala carte.
Or call for alacarte here too.
