We were looking for a nice breakfast restaurant in Kingston with real good coffee and food. This is it. A bit alternative, all organic, managed by a young, motivated and very friendly staff. Excellent food. This looks like to be the best alternative to the usual paper cup breakfast restaurants.

I LOVE this cafe in Kingston, NY!! I stop there for breakfast, on my bus layovers to Woodstock. I always have a hard time deciding what to eat; there are SO many amazing choices! I have many food intolerances (GF, Dairy, Soy, for example), and I always find plenty to eat there (I always leave w/a to-go bag too!). There are paleo & keto options too. Yes; and the coffee & teas are wonderful.

This is an excellent coffee shop and bakery that also has the appeal of an engaging antique shop. The decor is interesting and the products that they have acquired--with no small effort--are largely vintage stock like art supplies, collectibles, and pop culture from decades ago. The staff is friendly and the tables are communally shared, which creates a comfortable community vibe. The food options are freshly prepared daily, ranging from excellent breakfast options (massive delicious scones, sweet treats and zesty savory sandwiches) to sandwiches and includes many vegetarian options. It's a great spot that I visited several times and enjoyed repeatedly.

It's a few minutes off Interstate 87 and worth checking out. The vegan options are quite nice and the prices are great.

I am giving this an excellent score because they are vegan, cruelty-free food. The cafe's ambiance is that of an old-world, rustic feel. Shelves of antiques line the walls and a basement area with more antiques, particularly vintage clothes. The furniture consists of large wooden tables in keeping with the motif. It is a great place to rest your feet after walking around the town. Be aware that the shops in the area close early, like 4pm or so including this one. It is a nice place and I don't see a reason to not recommend this cafe. Parking meters outside along several blocks so bring quarters.
