Summer 2010, I took 5 young boys...11,10 a 4 year old and two 8 year olds to
Rocking Horse Ranch. When I told friends that we were going there....they said "It's
a little pricey......", but believe me it was worth every penny.
The boys loved every minute and there was something for every age group. The
activities were well organized and carefully supervised. The enviorment was safe and
the housekeeping standard was excellent.
The meals were "kid friendly". Ordering Shirley Temples at dinner was a treat
and no extra charge. The food was wholesome, fresh and well presented but don't
expect a 4 star experience. The kids thought that it was much better than the food
served on a cruise they went on last year...so they were all very happy with the meals.
We are planning to go back this winter....I would highly recommend it. The place
is very family oriented so not a good choice for young singles or couples.
I give Rocking Horse Ranch a great rating......Mary KeavenyMore
