The desk clerk was nice and he allowed us to park in a reserved spot since no one needed it. The neighborhood looks dirty and shady but the hotel has security cameras all around. The hallways and carpets looked dirty and people had thrown bags of trash into the hallway to be collected. The room was nice but small and the appliances and facilities were modern. We had recently stayed at one of the cheaper 4 star hotels in midtown named after a president and this room at Hotel Q was far nicer and more modern with better service. They also have continental breakfast although we did not get to eat there.
Rooms are not so bad, but location to far to the downtown. Breakfast very pure. Price not coincide to the quality. Latin district. Rooms on the first flore without window. Close to the subway. Bathroom after renovation - normal. Free wi-fi
Staff , I don't like att all.
I know staying in NY is expensive but this hotel really say supports the saying "you get what you pay for." I think it is silly the breakfast is served only from 9-10 so the 1hr window is quite annoying to work around your sleep schedule, it might not be ready before you leave or it might be gone when you wake up.
Well, my visit is different from many. I don't believe how a hotel can be this expensive and not have a safe and secure parking spot. I was told to park on the street. What happens if your car gets broken in to, do you sue the hotel or do you have to deal with it on your own. No fridge, I can't store my drinks nice and cold.
The hotels not to bad the rooms are small but than again most new York hotels are. I would not mind staying here again! The subway is a little bit of a walk tho! Same with the bus station. Stayed here 4 nights and had no problems! Over all I would stay there again!
