Stayed overnight at The Peak for The Medieval Feast in December . The Medieval Feast was the highlight of my stay...awesome!! Food at The Feast was great except for the bread which tasted funny and was very dry and had a strange texture. Hotel was very festive and decorated nicely for Christmas. There was a huge real Christmas tree in the lobby that was beautiful. Check-in was not pleasant since the lady who checked us in was very rude acting and she was even worse when we asked about our tickets for the show, which we had to pick up before the show. Very cranky! Room was ok, except I wish it had a bigger refrigerator(had a tiny dorm fridge) and the fan made noise all night long. Balcony was a nice feature. Bathroom was small and bed was not comfortable. Room and hallway and most areas at the peak need updated. Had a few drinks at the pub after The Feast and really liked the décor and atmosphere, but took forever standing at the bar to get a drink. The pub had a wonderful fireplace and a great band playing. The next morning, went back to the pub for a buffet breakfast that was good and very reasonably priced.

We stayed in the camelot condos but I visited the spa and pool area in the Inn. After seeing the pictures on trip advisor my expectations were low, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The shuttle service was great to and from and the Areas I visited at the Inn were nice and toasty. I do wish the spa had its own sauna, steam room, and whirlpool since the pool area was really loud since it was filled with kids. The prices are steep for what the spa is, but I guess they have a captive audience. They do have shower facilities in the spa. My overall impression of the Inn was that it needed a refresh, the 1980's are calling and they want their red carpet back.

We went up for opening day again this year. Stayed at the Inn and skied all day. The skiing is right outside your door. You basically ski and and ski out. The rooms are all updated and modern. Very comfortable bedding and humungous TVs. All of the rooms have free wifi. Included with the stay is a pass to the pool (which is ridiculously) big and an indoor outdoor hot tub. I highly recommend this for families, couples, friends, etc.

Room Tip: Go to the Sports Bar too. Very reasonably priced.

We first stayed here 40 years ago, returned a year later for our anniversary and came back several times for golf and pleasure. It is a great getaway and the rooms are unique. Everything has been upgraded. The fireplace rooms are now gas fired. The food has always been excellent. Great ambiance.
