This is definitely a restaurant we want to visit soon! It was very clean, nice atmosphere, & excellent staff & service. Our waiter was especially friendly & very familiar with the dishes offered on the menu. The menu has a nice variety & we were especially happy with the many vegetable entree options. We enjoyed an appetizer that allowed us to pick a any combo of 3 appetizers to share. The hummus, baba ganoush, & eggplant salad were especially good. When the entrees arrived, our palates continued to be delighted. They both presentation & taste were excellent, & portions were ample. Best of all, we each had extra to take home. We also learned that this restaurant has both take-out & delivery as well. We were very happy to discover this gem of a restaurant!

We decided to eat dinner NOT in Saratoga before the Philadelphia Orchestra recently. A friend had mentioned Alaturco in the Clifton Country Mall. We were warmly greeted and seated. Water was offered. Drink orders taken. The owner came over several times and answered all our questions. We were served hot, grilled pita with a lovely plate of olives in a yummy sauce. We shared zucchini pancakes. Our entrees were presented and were delicious ! The side salad was very refreshing with a light lemony dressing. Dessert ? We wanted to say NO, but pistachio baklava was calling. HAD to say NO to the Turkish coffee- didn't want to be up for three days ! We remembered Istanbul and how lovely it is ! Will go back !

The meat is my Doner Kabab was so good I'm glad there was enough left to bring home to enjoy again. The rice, too, was unusual and very good. Husband and I started the meal with the choice of three cold appetizers. I especially enjoyed the tabuli salad, and the olive "dip" served with the bread was different and very tasty.

We've been to the Alaturco in Ballston Spa and are glad they have opened another one in Clifton Park.

Excellent meal reasonably priced.

We visited with some apprehension as there had been so many false starts to the final opening of this establishment. Our Friday night visit was splendid in every way! Although there was quite a crowd, hubby and I were welcomed and seated promptly. We ordered a Cold Platter ($14) for three generous appetizers of our choice--babaghanoush, hummus, and grape leaves and followed it up with a chicken shish kabab dinner and a gyro sandwich. The servings were generous and the meat was moist and succulent and all the salad ingredients were fresh and crisp. We didn't have room for dessert but look forward to a return visit to sample other dishes!

We were the first couple there today. Order was taken and something else came out ( not what we ordered) mistakes can happen. Our food came out again in a reasonable time but I should have tried the order that was brought to us by mistake. I ordered the Stuffed Grape Leaves dinner which supposedly had meat and rice stuffing, but between you and I the stuffing was probably pieces of rocks as it was hard difficult to cut with a knife. The waiter took the order back to the kitchen and when asked what were the grape leaves stuffed with he said they don't know. How can a chef or cook not know what he is sending out to the customers??? If you want to chance it go right ahead BUT PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
