The rooms are nice but not nice enough for the price. We stayed here for our daughter's wedding at the groom's nearby family home. The views are amazing but we were lucky to get a few hours sleep because of frighteningly loud, drunk guests during both nights of our stay. One night we heard them describing in detail the expletive fight they just had. We tried calling the front desk but, oops, there's no one on duty after 11. We certainly weren't going to confront them ourselves. It was a horror show. It's clear the emphasis is on weddings. To add insult to injury, we couldn't get a breakfast sandwich in the cafe because they only have them Monday through Friday. What? We called the hotel when we got home but are still awaiting a return call. I've stayed at highway motels that were quieter. Save your money and stay elsewhere. We certainly will.

Spectacular view but beyond that, we were very disappointed. Service was very slow. Bread came after salads. It was clear food was sitting out before serving. Three of us had different meals but all came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. They were crusted and cold but the proteins with each dish were good. Requested indoor table but we were given table outdoors. Went for my parents anniversary. They were cold as we were not given seats under heater. Requested a few times to be moved to a warmer open table but we were not given the opportunity until the end of the meal. I really wanted to enjoy this meal but given the distance from home and our experience, we will not be returning anytime soon.

The place has been under new ownership since 2016. Have you ever heard of a hotel which is closed on Monday? The same is for breakfast which you can only get on the weekend. They are just concentrating on weddings nothing else! The golf course is nothing special but twice the price compared to a much more beautiful course in Naples NY.
I talked to the owner Laura Cook who really did not seem interested in my complaints. As a matter of fact she said "you always have the option not to come back"
You can sense the same attitude of the staff, nobody really seems to understand customer service. We paid $330.00/night, totally overpriced! The best thing is the view which the owners did not create.
Do not stay there!

Room Tip: The best view you will have from the 3rd floor

We stayed Sunday night after seeing The Who play at CMAC. The rooms are beautiful and should be in the Adirondacks!! Heated bathroom floor.......fireplace.....huge balcony!! It was all perfect. The next morning we were set to golf at 9am. There's no one at the desk so we could check out....."They come in at 9:00". Although the schedule at the restaurant said there were Monday morning hours for breakfast, the place was closed. The coffee shop has a buffet area that was not open. The pro shop had some pre-wrapped sandwiches, a fruit cup, beer, and yogurt. Mmmmm........what a breakfast. No cart girl on the course until noon.......the snack shack not open. I have to agree with other reviews, the staff seemed to think these shortcomings were OK.........take it or leave it. It's unfortunate the poor/thoughtless service overshadowed the beautiful location and rooms. Won't be going back.

Room Tip: Third floor.

We stayed at a nearby B & B and were referred to Bristol Harbour for lunch and the view.

The lunch was good, nice variety, but nothing special. The view however is awesome. If you sit outside the lake/ mountain view is knock out.

Great place for lunch, a glass of NY state wine and a wonderful view.

I can't speak to the balance of the facility, but it seemed clean and well maintained
