I got lucky and moved to a neighborhood which still has one of that dying breed--a Jewish delicatessen. And it's a great one. My friends from Brooklyn and upstate come all the way to the Bronx to eat here. Liebman's has all the usual that you go to a Jewish delicatessen for: hot pastrami, corned beef, brisket, knishes, roast turkey, frankfurters, bagel and lox platters, gefilte fish, and lots more. It's all scrumptious. Of course there are Dr. Brown's sodas. Meals come with a plate of sour and half-sour pickles and a serving of good cole slaw. The sandwiches are humongous. The restaurant has booths of various sizes and a real neighborhood-y feeling.
