When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Kathy. She gave us a tour of the house and some history. She let us know how welcome we were to use several rooms in the house. We later met Joe who was just as welcoming. They both offered warm conversation. The room was very comfortable. Kathy and Joe offered a time that fit our schedule for breakfast, which was very accommodating. Breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and plenty. I am very happy with our stay and recommend this.

Such a warm ,wonderful, and comfortable stay, from the rooms to the beautiful grounds but more importantly the wonderful hosts, Kathy and Joe. They were so full of history and knowledge but never overwhelming, so very accommodating. We honestly can't wait to come back!!!!

Beautiful surroundings...lovely room...two amazing family style breakfasts...wonderful hosts. You couldn't have asked for more! We were even able to add a little piece to their family history. If you ever want to taste a little piece of heaven then this is the place. This is the place Karen and I will remember as the birthplace of our spiritual union.

We stayed for 2 nights with our two children aged 2 and 6 and we stayed in the Primrose room.

If you are looking for a tranquil place with great hosts, look no further. In addition, should you feel an urge to shop, the Woodbury Commons is only 20 minutes away. The pool is a big plus in our view, especially for the kids.

Cathy and Joe were welcomed us with open arms and we felt at home immediately.

Room tip: Next time we will try the cottage.

I feel so lucky to have stayed at the Dominion House! Originally was going to stay at Storm King Lodge but because the owner had a medical emergency, was placed last minute in the gracious care of Kathy and Joe at Dominion House. And they care very much about everything they do - the landscaping, maintaining the integrity of the home's architecture, organizing a variety of fun and informative things to do around Blooming Grove, the amazing breakfast (taste the love)! Plus, prompt email correspondence and an easy/calm welcome on arrival assured us that our stay was going to be great. The Primrose Room was perfect - more spacious than we expected! The private bath is really convenient, especially since we were coming/going at very late times to meet up with friends for weekend wedding activities nearby. An aside I have to mention, the other guests were so friendly and enjoyable to be around at breakfast that I wished we could've stayed longer to enjoy more time with everyone. I took it as a good indication of the quality of the people drawn to the Dominion House.

Room tip: Primrose Room windows opened to breezes so didn't need to turn on A/C.
