I was staring at a shelf looking for something when an employee (I think the manager or an assistant) stopped dead in his tracks (he was obviously on a mission) and said: "Can I help you find something?" I'm 70 years old and that's the FIRST TIME in my life that I can recall a grocery store employee, anywhere, offering to help. I didn't even particularly need the help......But I really appreciate the offer! Way to go Minier's! That's the way to keep a share of the grocery market.....even when faced with overwhelming competition from the big box grocery stores. Along those lines I LOVE the customer service counter where you can pay for one or a few items without standing in line behind someone who has a cart full of groceries.
