Nxabega Tented Camp was the first stop on our 7 night stay in the Delta, and it was the highlight our trip. The camp itself is a perfect combination of ultra luxury while still being immersed in nature. The tents are stunning, spacious, and beautifully appointed, and the views are divine.

We had fabulous game viewing, including the elusive leopard which we saw four days in a row. We also had incredible lion, elephant, and general game sightings. This is in large part to our incredible guide and tracker team Richard and Candrew. They are phenomenal trackers and clearly have a passion for the bush and what they do. I've been on plenty of safaris where the tracker isn't involved, but Candrew was very involved in our experience, and along with Richard they together make such a great team. We loved watching them track and work together as much as we loved seeing the animals after they found them (well... almost as much!)

The water activities are a lot of fun and very relaxing. I hated the thought to give up a game drive of potentially seeing big game, but the Mokoro ride was one of the highlights of my whole trip.

The last thing that sets Nxabega above all others was the service. The kindess and consideration from every single staff member really blew us away (special mention to Judy and Tsepi) and we were so sad to leave. I will happily return and recommend this camp to anyone!

I don't know where to start. I can't believe we had such an incredible experience. Not one thing went wrong. We took a three week trip through Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa. Nxabega was the last camp we went to, and probably the best. I agree with the writer who mentions Kitsu, who was also our butler. She is unbelievable. Professional, thoughtful and knew just what we want when we want it. How does she do that? Our driver, Kuks and his tracker, Jose (pronounced Joe-say) were excellent. We saw every living thing Okavanka Delta has to offer but a rhino. The tents are gorgeous, comfortable and perfect for viewing. Every night we were visited by a family of eles who were happily munching away at mid night. We had our own resident warthog and some bush bucks. We left Nxabega Nov. 2 and it was getting oppressively hot. Summer is starting, rains will come and all will turn green and lush, not the best time for animal viewing. So we got there just in time! Lest I forget, the chefs are outstanding, food delish. Even the housekeeper is a marvel. It was wonderful coming back to our beautiful tent after the morning drive to find all clean and spotless. Cannot say enough about Nxabega. If we have the chance, we will definitely go back for more than three days.

Room tip: Tent 8 was spectacular. Eles seemed to prefer this area at night.

We have stayed three nights in this beautiful camp. The lodge is really marvelous so is the terrace with the swing chair.
The common area is also astonishing as is the pool with the sun-beds. The view over the waters is unbelievable and you are surrounded by the animals. Kitso our Butler did everything to make our stay remarkable and she did succeed.
We did the game drives, the mokoro (canu) Trip as well as the boat drive on the delta. Really very nice. Wildlife was everything you can hope for.

Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp was the second &Beyond site that we stayed at during our recent, wonderful trip to beautiful Botswana and we enjoyed every minute of our time there! On arrival, after our flight from Kasane, we were met by the camp managers, Rhiana and Judy, together with members of their really friendly team. We were then shown to our 'tent', home for the next three nights! The tents are really well laid out. There is an inside and outside shower and good storage space. They is an electric floor fans which, given the limited time you really spend in the tent and the cool nights, is really quite adequate to circulate the air. We never lowered the blinds, as the tents are well-positioned and a discrete distance from each other, with great views. The camp is not fenced, so at night and sometimes during the day, animals wander around freely. We certainly had visits from various antelopes, warthogs and monkeys. Because of that, the staff escort you to and from your rooms at night and early morning. The communal areas at the camp are very good and the food excellent, with meals served in different areas each night, including an excellent bar-b-q one night in the boma. Do try the Botswana beef, as it is absolutely delicious but I do question whether serving various antelope, that you have had the joy of seeing running wild during the day, is good practice. Rhiana, Judy and team go out of their way to make sure you enjoy yourself and thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. The animal drives (I hate the term game drives!) were great and if you can, do ask for Richard as your guide and 'candyman' as your tracker, because they are passionate about their work and the animals, which was so nice to experience. Thanks to both of them! In addition to the animal drives, we really enjoyed the boat and Mokoro rides along the channels of the delta. We had a great three nights at Nxabega and were sorry to leave. It was such a memorable stay and we would not hesitate in recommending a stay there to anybody visiting the Okavango Delta.

Room tip: We had tent 2, which was discretely positioned, with good views over the grasses of the delta,

Just finished 2 nights at Nxabega and it was great. This was our second trip with &Beyond and once again service was 5 star. Our "tent" was in great shape, the view from our let us see Elephants and other animals walk by. One morning when heading to the lodge for out drive we were held up by two Elephants walking past. Our guide Gee was enthusiastic and just as excited as were were to find the baby Leopard hanging out in the tree. The food was excellent and there is nothing better than stopping on your morning drive to have coffee and snacks in the middle of the park. Since the camp is in the Okavango Delta we were able to do a dugout canoe ride at sunset which was a highlight.
