“You can skip this one”
Reviewed 1 April 2012

There are so many great museums in the Northern New Mexico area. This one has what a lot of others do and it's not presented as well.

Hello, and thanks for your review. While we agree that there are many wonderful museums in northern New Mexico, the Harwood is the only one that was co-founded by members of the Taos Society of Artists, that features the internationally acclaimed Agnes Martin Gallery, and that can claim to be the second oldest museum in New Mexico. Give us another try!

“Very nice little museum”
Reviewed 7 March 2012

Like most of the museums in Taos, the Harwood is housed in an old abode structure, but the inside is clean and modern. There are very good exhibits and you won't get "museumitis" (symptoms; eyes begin to cross; knees weak; need a drink).

“a must-see for history and cultural flavor!”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

I visit every year. They have great permanent installations and awesome exhibitions that constantly change. There is always something new that teaches me a little more visually about the rich cultural heritage of the area.
