Booked this Property many , many months in advance for a family reunion. 7 of a couple more cabins Every thing was made clear Dogs allowed at $150. -$160 per nt Do the math, we spent a lot of $s. On arrival we were met with hostile owner because we had parked on a couple inches of grass on correct side of barrier and the agreed upon people to our cabin was not acceptable. My kid had to rent a different property up the road. The family came from many parts of the country and were so happy to be together. Fun time was marred by owner. No maid service, no trash bags or p/up. And we were informed by our bookee owner claimed after we left the cabins were left a mess 20+ people 7 cabins Come on!

Room Tip: Not a good place for handicapped or those with mobility issues.

You booked Cabin 11 which is a one bedroom cabin. Cabin 11 has a maximum capacity of two adults and two children. The definition of child as indicated on our website is 12 years and younger. You made the reservation for two adults. You showed up with 4 adults. Your “kid” was 30 + years old and brought his significant other. We did explain to you that was not acceptable. Your “kid” and significant other did find other accommodations on Thursday night but snuck back in and spent the night in your cabin Friday and Saturday nights.

When you made the reservation you agreed to pay the $159.00 per night plus tax for cabin 11. You also agreed to pay the pet fee for each of your dogs. There were no hidden fees.

We offer cabins, not motel rooms, thus no maid service. If our guest need replacement towels, extra toilet paper, paper towels, they usually ask and we take them whatever they need.

It is incorrect there were no trash bags. Each cabin has two trash bags in the kitchen and two trash bags in the bathroom. Had you asked for additional trash bags, they would have been furnished to you.

No we do not come by and pickup your trash and take it to the dumpster. We have it posted in the cabin that is your responsibility. We do not charge a cleaning fee. We do ask our guest to leave the cabin tidy, wash their dishes and take out their trash, all of which is posted in each cabin.

The cabins were left in a mess. Cabin dishes left on the floor, empty food container under a bed, napkins and paper towels wadded up and thrown all over the floor, dirty dishes left all over the cabins, trash thrown on the floor, overflowing trash cans in every cabin, a loogie spit on a kitchen cabinet door, just a few examples of how the cabins were left.

Yes you were asked not to park on the grass. As you indicated the property is beautiful and we have worked very hard to make it that way. Obviously, if everyone was allowed to park on the landscaping, it would no longer be beautiful.

Our pet policy stipulates pets are not allowed on bedding or furniture. The cabin you stayed in required extensive cleaning just to get the dog hairs out. The comforter and rugs had to be washed. The cabin took four times as long as the usual to clean.

There were a large number of people that were not staying at the cabins that showed up and used the grounds, which we had previously agreed would not be allowed.

This place is beautiful and so family friendly! The cabins were spotless! There is a playground and outdoor cooking area right by the river. The new owners have really changed this place around- from the cabins to the landscaping! I can't wait to see it again!!!

We had a blast! The owners are so sweet. Such a fun and relaxing place. I got to relax in the hammock, play in the river with my little one, and he enjoyed the playground, and made s'mores. Extremely close to shopping and food. Saw lots of deer. Cabins were so cute and clean, beds comfortable. Cant wait to take the family back!

My husband and I stayed in Cabin 12 for 3 nights! The cabin feel was like we were on a second honeymoon! I can't say enough positive things about our stay. The cabin was perfect.....very clean, jacuzzi tub, king size bed was very comfortable, back balcony to lounge while drinking coffee in the morning and/or drinking wine in the evening, and best of all, it is the PERFECT location! The cabin is in walking distance of the Main Street for shopping, eating out, and if you had a REALLY FUN night out....don't even have to worry about driving! The grounds (landscaping) is beautiful as well....very well kept! Right in front of the 2 bedroom cabins there is a playground with equipment and lots of room for kids to run and play. There is also a beautiful stream running behind the playground! I highly recommend the Sierra Blanca Cabins for a couples getaway and for families!

We have stayed at Sierra Blanca Cabins twice now and have loved it both times. The owners are more than accommodating to all guests and the cabins had everything that we could need. Our favorite part is the location! The cabins are right on the river (which our little boys loved playing in) and you are just a short walk from great shopping and restaurants. We can't wait to visit again!
