We booked a cabin for five nights while we looked for a place for my wife to live. She was supposed to be a teacher there at Questa.
The property is clean and is a work in progress. It is family owned and now that Alaina and her husband are running it, you can see they are working to make it better. Trees, grass, pond, RV spaces and Cabins.
We were in Cabin Six. Queen size bed, full kitchen, shower, hardwood floors, western motif. It was nice.
The drawbacks; the internet was spotty. My wife's computer kept disconnecting and our kindles had issues. If you have AT&T phone service, you have to stand in a certain place to get a single bar 3G signal in order make a call.
Also, Cabin six is right next to the shop area for the Lodge.
The lodge is along the Questa River. You can hear the water running at night if the window is open.
Alaina will assist you in finding things to do around the area.
Our cabin was $75 a night and well worth it.
Oh, the nicest place we found for my wife to live, was the cabin we were renting at the Lodge. She ended up not taking the job....More
