Place gets little funding so is becoming run down. The first part of the trail was weedy and seedy looking. A lot of the various tribes living in the area are represented by their types of housing. Some are in dire need of repair. The intent is there.
The second part, the ruins, are in as good a shape as 3,000 housing units could be. The signage is faded but you can get a self guided tour pamphlet from the museum. The museum is very nice. There is a patio over looking the ruins from the back of the museum. Watch carefully for the turn off, it'll sneak up on you. Its on the south side of the road around Bloomfield.
