Your hosts, Al and Mel are gracious, informative, caring and make great wines! Try to sit on the outdoor patio for your tasting. 5.00 is pretty cheap to sample wines made in New Mexico with grapes literally 50 feet from you.
I learned a new word (an acequia is an irrigation ditch) and about another winery! LOVE New Mexican wines and this is a really great winery. The winemakers wife runs the tasting room and just spending an afternoon with her would be a treat. Add in the wines and it's a wonderful experience. Not a bad wine in the selections, from light whites to some delicious reds. The view from the property is spectacular as well. We'll be back.
Visited here on a girls wine weekend. The views are just spectacular. The winery is at someone's house and it gives you a great "hanging in the backyard" view, except with wonderful wine and a view that cannot be beat.
GPS found it best. The sign was not out on the road yet. Don't give up, just follow your maps. Quaint house with a tasting room that has charm and character an a patio to enjoy. Super friendly wine educator. Had a 5 glass tasting. They had a few unavailable that were on the list. Had more whites than reds but a good variety. Took home the Zin and the Merlin. The best part of going to the Corrales wineries are the down home folks that really know the region and are so welcoming and never rushing. They get to know you and the wines you like.Small fee for the tasting.
Thanks for stopping by. We just bottled our Riesling and Muscat. Next week it's the Chardonnay. So, lots more wine to taste. Happy New Year.
Heard about this local Coralles vineyard off of a local news promotion. I printed the local Groupon deal for the wine tasting and was pleasantly surprised.
Quaint place. Locally produced wines were good and the proprietor was lively, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Was a great way to spend a few hours on a late fall day with a friend. I recommend anyone to check out this local, little gem.
Great little place, a hidden gem. Great wine, friendly place. I went to try some new wine and it was mucho mucho.
Thanks for stopping by. Just bottles our new Riesling, and Muscat. Next week it's the Chardonnay. Lot's more fun to have.
