Spent time here tasting and the wine and visiting with Al. Tasted all 8 wines and took 4 bottles home. This was a favorite stop on our wine tour. Al was a gracious host and was from the same state of us. He was kind enough to educate us on how to taste wine and understand the different nuances in a glass of wine. We really enjoyed visiting with him. The wine was very good and tasting room was nicely appointed. Had a great time! Recommend this vineyard for a stop.

Second time we visited this little winery, but this was the first time we sat on their back patio while sipping their wines. Felt like family. The views are stunning (see my photo from their patio). I could have sat there all afternoon. Good people.
I thought the wines this year were better than the ones at Corrales Winery, and a better value. Who knew that a girl from the south side of Chicago could make such nice wines.

A fantastic family owned winery with a beautiful view. The owners, Al and Mel Knight are so friendly, knowledgable and make delicious wines. The regular tasting room was being used during harvesting time. The crop was so healthy this year that Al had to also use the tasting room to make the wine. Mel took us into their back yard for the tasting. The view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains was breathtaking. The wines were fantastic! It was such a wonderful experience!
