I stayed there for almost 2 weeks and it was indeed a wonderful experience. The room is clean, wifi is good and friendly staff (ate Lucille) which made my stay even comfortable. The location has an easy access to jeepney and tricycle. I will definitely recommend to friends and relatives who are visiting from overseas and wish to stay in cheap and good accommodation. Thank you Ate Marissa for the lovely souvenir and hope to see you next time.
I stayed at Sunset Apartelle from July 3 to July 17. I really enjoyed my stay. At first I was a bit upset because of the location. It was far from Fields Avenue, and in a gated community with not much around ( as in stores or businesses). What i realized later was that if was in a very nice community filled with large homes, and mansions. It was very quiet, and very relaxing. That made up for the fact that it was far from the action. If you are looking to visit family or you come with your family, it's the perfect spot. A family would have access to a park right on the same street in walking distance, with a playground and a basketball court. There is a school right across the street, but it's an elementary school so the students aren't going crazy after school like in the US. Marissa and her workers were extremely nice offering us food and always available if we needed transportation or information. They are willing to cook for you, for a small fee, do laundry for a small fee, and take care of you in any way they can within reason. The apartment was a studio with a kitchenette and bathroom. A full kitchen was located in the common area that you have access to as well. There is a yard with plenty of space to sit and relax. The apartment looked very new, like it had be recently built which was nice, prior to that in Olongapo where i stay for a long time, the place i stayed was old and somewhat run down, it was so refreshing to have a place like this. If i would have known I would be in the area, I would have stayed at Sunset Apartelle my entire stay in the Phillipines. It did take about 20 minutes by trike to go straight to Fields Avenue. But between Fields and Sunset Apartelle was Korean Town with many restaurants and and services that was nice when you just want to relax. Nepo Mart/Nepo Mall is just a jeepney ride away and was nice if you didn't want to see other foreigners and wanted to experience a more true Filipino experience. At no time did i feel unsafe or cheated. I would return anytime i were to stay in Angeles.
