Our second holiday at the Dusun in less than a year - and both visits have absolutely exceeded our expectations. The accommodation, service and the especially the staff are superb! We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bali and hope to be able to return many more times.
It is amazing to see how development in Bali has progressed since I first went there in 1976.
Regardless of the rapid expansion in the number of hotels & villas, the friendly welcoming attitude towards us of the Balinese people has not changed at all.
However, by a long way, the most pleasant stays have been at The Dusun Family Villas in Seminyak.
It is so rare for a review of a holiday destination to exceed the reality of the experience, but this is not the case with The Dusun where we have stayed twice in the recent few months. It has by far exceeded all our expectations & sets a high bar for others to try to follow.
The location is ideal being a very short distance to excellent shopping, wonderful restaurants & the beach.
Not only are the facilities of such a high standard, but the attitude of all the staff was exemplary & this is a feature worthy of mention.
It is certainly easy to find less expensive accommodation, but if one is looking for value for money & wishes the best Bali has to offer, this is it. It certainly beats staying in a quality hotel any day!
We felt as though we were visiting friends who could not do enough for us & no request was ever beyond their immediate capability.
Having a driver available at all times was a bonus & if they were all busy, The Dusun provided at their own cost, a reliable taxi service.
Without doubt we will be back there again when next we return to Bali as nowhere else could we feel as comfortable or as welcome.

My family recently stayed in a 3 bedroom villa at the Dusun for 9 nights.
The Dusun delivered consistently with all of the positive reviews we had read about it and is truly worthy of its high ranking on tripadvisor.
Best parts include the size and quality of the villas and the handy location to all that Seminyak has to offer. (Restaurants, shopping, beach) as well as the helpful and friendly staff.
We will definitely stay there again.
My husband and I recently had our 2nd visit to the Dusun Villas, and as always, everything exceeded expectations. Gede and his staff are just wonderful and treat all their guests as extended family. Nothing is ever too much for them. The villas are wonderful, the location to the beach, Seminyak Square and other hot spot attractions are all within walking distance. I'd have no hesitation recommending the resort to others - you won't be disappointed.
this was our 3rd trip to the Dusun, and the 20th or so to Bali. The team at the Dusun continue to exceed our expectations.Whilst most of Bali's Hotels and Villa staff are renowned for their friendlieness and helpfulness, the team at the Dusun are just head and shoulders above. We have stayed in all the luxury resorts in Seminyak and around, yet we keep returning to the Dusun.
Fantastic location near all the restaurants, shopping and beach. looking forward to going back to Bali in December with a family from England who have never been to Bali before.
