We always come to this market place to purchase Fresh Water Pearls when we are in the market for them. We have been able to buy some in other location but these seem to last the longest. My wife bought a pair of ear-rings several years ago and they are still going strong. She doesn't wear them with fresh perfume on and they have not discoloured. They are in great shape and we recently went to get my daughter a string of Peals that where slightly Pink and my wife bought her a pair of Ear Rings that were pink as well. We paid Aus $80 dollars for the Necklace and we paid Aus $50 dollars for the earrings.

Small shopping area at this square with other eateries closed by. Preferred the other side of Seminyak which joins on to Legian and then Kuta. You can do a leisurely stroll from Seminyak to Kuta with lots of shops and restaurants throughout enroute if you don’t mind walking and browsing around. Area is safe and we had a driver who took us anywhere and everywhere whenever we needed him around the island. He is reliable, also a guide and charges very reasonable prices. Some of the journeys we took were from Seminyak to Ubud ( we stayed there for 3 days). For the Return journey, he came to Ubud and picked us up and dropped us off in Sanur. 300 Indonesian rupees each way. We also used him for airport pickup and drop off.
