Having stayed, with great pleasure, in the 'old' Villa Angelo for quite a few times, I was quite excited to find out that the guys have a new spot in Seminyak. So I decided to try it out.

In short, the guys have really one-upped themselves with this new villa. Being even more central in Seminyak than the previous one, you still find yourself in an oasis of comfort, luxury and privacy.

The standards of the rooms are as high as I expected based on my previous visits. Spotless cleanliness, nice AC, safes big enough to store a full size laptop computer and blistering fast WiFi. The cherry on top would be the more than 1000 tv channels to choose from, right in your room and free of charge.

When leaving the room is when you see the uniqueness of the building and its location. Nesteled in an unusual quite street in the heart of Seminyak, within a close walk to the beach and gay-street.

The building itself is not your average Balinese villa, with three stories and an amazing rooftop terrace including jacuzzi, it is an awesome place to kick back and relax with a stunning view.
The place is packed with nice lounge corners on every level.

All of this is topped of by the staff, which will do everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

All in all there is only one place to stay in Seminyak, and that's Villa Angelo!

The location of this property is in the middle of everything you need. The staff was very helpful. They help me get around town by giving me tips and sometimes taking me to places. The pool area is small but quite.

While traveling south east Asia for the last three months I've been comming back to Villa Angelo time and time again. It is like a home away from home, where everyone can be who he wants to be, who ever they are.

The staff make for a very relax and friendly atmosphere from the time I set foot in this place, they are always there to help, whatever the problem.

The rooms are spacious, very clean and silent! I never noticed that I was sleeping in the very centre of the city.
And above all, the beds are top notch, a rare find in asia!

All in all it is the perfect tranquil hideaway in the hustle and bustle that is Seminyak.

No wild orgies and sex parties while we were there, but it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. A mix of older and younger during our stay. Large grocery store almost across the street. 10 minute very brisk walk to the bars, and 20 minute brisk walk to the beach. But the two "gay" beaches are further away. Many nearby restaurants. 5 rooms, all with private bath. The advertise 6 rooms, but the 6th room is simply taking whatever is still available when you arrive. It is well off the street, down a "gang" (alley) and very private. The owners and staff are nice, and the custom made breakfast is VERY good. An airport pick up is included in the price. Rooms are large, as is the toilet (bathroom). Large 4 poster beds with mosquito net, if you choose to use it. The three upstairs rooms (labeled first floor on their website) have no view. If you want to watch the clothing optional pool, opt for one of the two ground floor rooms. Our aircon was adequate, but just barely. There was a generic control which only controlled the temperature. The water drainage in the bathroom was slow, even after they fixed it. The water pressure and hot water is good, and there is a very large tub. There is no water cleaning spray by the toilet, as is usual in Asian toilets, and no floor drainage in the toilet area. The stairs to the upper level are a little steep. I kept thinking I might fall backwards ... lol.

It was a really nice and quiet villa, and still cloce to the center of Seminyak. Nice BIG clean rooms, nice breakfast, a very cosy garden, and great staff. I will stay there again next time I'm going to Bali. :-)
