Beach-Sand Box-Beach-Shopping Now that's a perfect day. I have taken people there and nobody has ever been disappointed. As a member of their V.I.P. club, I get to enjoy a free meal after every 12 paid meals. Doesn't take long because I do love to go. The owners, Dana and Vinnie and their staff make me feel like I'm among friends. Can't say enough!

Four of us ate here for breakfast on July 4th and loved it. Of course it was packed and there was a wait but we were glad we stayed. We did learn that you can call ahead to put your name on the list. The cafe has an eclectic decor and they recognize first timers. The service is top notch...the owner makes a point to visit and explain the offerings in detail. If you order a baked item, they explain that it will take 20 minutes and it does take that long but it is well worth it. Two of us had the baked pancake casserole with sizzling maple syrup and the other two had an asparagus and crab frittata and a Parmesan Egg Bake. All were delicious! Our friends, who have a house on LBI, had never been here in 7 years...trust me, they will be back soon after the great experience on July 4th. We also can't wait to get to LBI to try it again. The lunch menu also looked great. Highly recommended!

This place is simply wonderful. Great food, great atmosphere, great service...even the music is fun. It's a nice place to go with the ladies, with your special someone or with young daughters who would enjoy feeling special and grown up. Seating is very very cozy so I wouldn't recommend it for small children- those who may enjoy tossing a fork or two- those with short attention spans - those who need to move around in a restaurant.
I am a summer local who really doesn't mind the 'tourists' because honestly I can't tell them from the islanders. Everyone is in shorts and t-shirts. And everyone is happy!
The deep dish pancake shouldn't be classified as food. It is some sort of wonderful out of this world delight. The 'small' is perfect for those with a normal appetite. The large means left overs for tomorrow!
Expect to wait - but it's so worth it. Large groups should probably look elsewhere just because the tables are small and not really designed to be put together...but call ahead to ask if they can accommodate you.

With good reason. Not only is this outdoor breakfast/lunch spot adorable, but the food is divine. Situated in an outdoor courtyard, this combination bathhouse/cafe offers delicious food at slightly high prices. The pancakes are out of this world, as are the omelettes. Lunch sandwiches are also very good. The atmosphere is lovely with wrought iron tables and chairs, waterfalls and foliage all around. Cash only. They close at three, so get there early. Popular with the tourists, who always seem to travel in droves :(
