We have been vacationing in Seaside Heights for many years and have stayed at a few different houses. This is the best experience we have had . Its just steps to the beach and walking distance to everything in town. We didn't need our car all week. The house itself is spotless and very well maintained. It had all new wall to wall carpeting on the first floor, a new modern kitchen and new tile floors as well.We loved the fact that everyone had their own private bedroom. We have stayed in 3 bedroom houses that claim to sleep 10, but some have to sleep on pull out sofas in a living room with no privacy. This house has 5 very large bedrooms much bigger than the beach houses we rented before.
We stayed here in about August of 2014, the place was big had plenty of bedrooms to accommodate our large group. The house itself is outdated and has an odd layout. The common areas were too small for our entire group to chill out at night. The dining furniture is mismatched, just something as simple as getting one cohesive table could make a huge difference here.
We also had a problem where one of the rooms smelled of vomit. On closer inspection it was evident that it was in fact that.... we contacted the owner who got back to us a day or two later. At that point we had already cleaned it ourselves and covered the place in baking soda, to contain the smell. We were disappointed to say the least. When the owner finally responded he said oh there is cleaning supplies in the kitchen, which shocked us. The correct thing would have been to send over the cleaning service as soon as possible.
(Other than that) and you can tell we are fairly easy going people, we just chose not to use that room for the duration of the trip.
Nice location, big house, but not going to be the clean luxury feel you will want at a beach house. If you are 21 and on spring break go for it, but for a nice family vacation look elsewhere.
We stayed here last July, unfortunately it was not available this year when we were going on vacation. The house is in a rather quiet section of Seaside Heights. I think it's one of only a few placees with 5 bedrooms and the bedrooms are a nice size. There are 2 parking passes included. The only downfall was that there were no beach passes included. Would recommend this place to anyone. Very clean and close to beach!
