When we walked out of Epes, we marked the spot as one to return to.

The lentil soup was subtle and flavorful, with a good balance between chunkiness and smoothness. In the shepherd's salad with lamb, the lamb chunks were cooked perfectly: tender and juicy, and slightly crisp on the outside without being charred. The hummus appetizer was not salty.

They offer several tasty-looking desserts. We opted to take home some baklavah, and contended over it.

When we were almost done, a lady sat down at the table next to us and waited with calm expectation. Soon, a gentleman showed up with a tall bottle of wine.

In a town chock full of restaurants for every pocket and pallet, this was a treat. Small store front, deli like place so forget ambiance, roominess and impressive first date. Seating outside under umbrellas. BYOB. And the food - great! I only had salad, bread and tea but all made me a happy diner. The salad was so fresh one imagined that it was grown in and picked from backyard. vegetable CAN have a kick everyone! When one tastes real food, fresh food, the taste buds sing. My friend enjoyed her meal as well. Service was quiet and quick.
Pros: inexpensive, not impossible to park, tasty food and worth the visit.
Cons: No ambiance whatsoever, one does not linger. But if you're there to eat well and affordably - very well worth the visit.

We have been here for lunch as well as dinner with friends. Everyone loved the food. Place is cozy but good service and food. It does get crowded on weekend evenings but is worth the wait.

As a lover of Mediterranean food and one that comes from there I would say this place is okay. The service is very friendly and quick. The interior is not very fancy but small and cozy.
Food was ok but I can't say it was something special. The baba ganusg here though is amazing.

Thank Ron R
