This dimly lit restaurant has an expansive menu of Italian food. They do all of the classics well and always have a tantalizing (and rather large) menu of specials. We vary our menu choices from here, going from things like the meatballs as a starter and a sausage bolonese as a main, to wonderful chicken dishes, and full on steaks. Desserts are overall tasty, though we'd pass on the cheesecakes, which are often more cakey and less flavorful than one would expect. I'd also avoid the limoncello, as the last time we'd had it, it seemed like it was freezer burned. I suspect they don't sell enough. The wine menu is okay - stocked with big box brands, all of high quality.
While the food is generally excellent, I will take off one star for the service. It is sufficient, but not attentive. While dining one night our server failed to come back to the table to see if we wanted refills on our drinks, never asked us how our meals tasted, or if we needed anything in addition to the food on the tables. The restaurant lost our add-on business for sure. This type of service seems to be true a lot of the time.
That said, we enjoy the food and will keep on coming. We hope that they will tighten up on service; it will increase our business.
