We stayed here for one night while visiting family in NYC. Since we were driving it is MUCH cheaper to stay in New Jersey (and park for free) than drive into Manhattan and deal with the extra traffic, tolls, and parking issues. Our room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Pillows were awful! This is not the kind of place you go to as your final destination, but it was convenient for being able to park and take public transport into the city.

If you are staying in New Jersey for any length of time or Anywhere else around New York for longer this hotel is ideal. It's a bit of a trek from JFK or La Guardia but worth it if you're staying more than overnight.
Rooms are large with comfy beds with fridges.
Breakfast is good but basic with cereal toast eggs sausage.
The hotel also offers a bus into and out of Manhattan all day up to 11 at night. This cost is about £9 return and takes about 30 minutes.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT come here!! It is awful! The style and decor is cheap (like 50's Elvis but so much worse!), & the rooms are dirty (check the corners! Look behind the sink!)!! ALSO--- it advertises WiFi but no WiFi (they get annoyed when you call asking them to fix it) & after an hour of them promising to deliver wifi, they say its because they are at full capacity and therefore it can't work properly!!! FYI- Don't advertise wifi if you can't provide it! They did nothing to help me other than say "you can talk to our manager in the morning." Bunch of BS! Don't stay here. Id pay an extra 100 dollars to stay anywhere else! Truly awful!!!

stayed here as could not find anywhere on Manhattan what was affordable, it's about 6 miles from New York and takes about 20 min's (depending on traffic) by bus. there is a bus service from the hotel and is about $14 return, you can also catch the local bus from the Port authority bus station for $3.50 each way.

The hotel has nice large bedrooms with well appointed bathrooms, although we did find that the wall's were very thin and were woken on a few occasions by lots of noise coming from the the hallway. there is a restaurant on the 12th floor and serves good food at reasonable prices.
there is a breakfast served in the lobby restaurant it get's very busy and we had a few days when we had to queue.

We're a family of four, children are 5 & 2 years of age. We stayed at this hotel to go to NYC for a tour. Service, cleanness and staff were nice. However, one of their shuttle bus drivers is very rude and a fraud. First he tried short cut to get us to NYC but he was picking up another couple, so dropped us on 7th Ave instead of their office and told us to meet him at 7th Ave for the evening pick-up. My family and I were almost left at NYC at 9pm because the pick- up point was the wrong place the driver gave us and he was not picking up that night, another driver was. We had to defend ourselves against this fraud driver and he particularly called us liars and denied everything, even after ringing the shuttle service several times to get the shuttle to wait, and the shuttle manager (a woman) I spoke was very rude and didn't care to leave us with the children in the middle of NYC at night. It was not handled to my satisfaction either.
