We chose this hotel at a very last minute family travel to visit family we haven’t seen for a while. We were surprised of how clean this hotel was. No complimentary water and the breakfast wasn’t the best but overall it was great.

The room was not clean.. it had some role petals on the floor.. the bed was not fresh.. the sofa was dirty.. it was torn on sides.. the dust bin did not have bin bags.. the house keeping was as if they are doing for the sake of doing it..overall felt it is not up to Hilton standards.. the person at the front desk was kind of weird.. this facial expression when I arrived was " what the hell are you doing here" no speech.. he just raised his eyebrows to ask WHAT?

Chose to stay in Linden before a customer meeting on Staten Island. Location was good on a main road and next to a nice plaza with many good options for restaurants.
Rooms were quite comfortable, mine included a Hot Tub in addition to standard bathroom.
Would stay here again if planning a customer visit to this area.

I will never stay in this dump ever again. The air conditioner was not working. It was so hot we had to change rooms. In the room the toilet and sink were clogged and the chair had a questionable stain. Here is the of only ones : one elevator was working, one washer, one dryer. So stay at your own risk...

Greetings Ms. Manzano,

Thank you for sharing your recent visit at the Hampton Linden. We're sorry that the air conditioner was not working during your stay. Needless to say that your visit was less than satisfactory. Unfortunately there was a recent storm where the building was struck by lightning which caused some of our services to malfunction, such as the elevator and guest laundry facility just to name a few. We immediately contacted the providers that service these items and were awaiting parts so that everything could get back up and running. I assure you that this is not the norm. With regards to the "questionable stain", we are aware of this and have treated the areas affected with commercial cleaner and are working on beginning to reupholster the chairs in need of attention throughout the hotel. We hope that once these areas have been remedied that you will give us the opportunity to serve you again changing your view of the hotel as a "dump". Please do not hesitate to contact us directly at your leisure for any future accommodations.

nice place to stop when traveling. took a rest, quiet sleep.room was clean, bed comfy, bath clean and accommadating. staff very nice. NO free breakfast....too expensive - rip off, we went down the street.

Thank you for taking time from your day in letting us know how your say was at the Hampton Inn Linden. We're pleased that you enjoyed a much needed rest from traveling and that you found your accommodations clean and comfy. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication but we actually do have complimentary breakfast available to all our guest from 6a-10a daily in our breakfast area located in front of the front desk in the lobby. If you have any questions or can provide us with some insight so that this mishap doesn't occur again I will be extremely appreciative. We look forward to you visiting again where you can experience our Hot Breakfast!
