The location of the hotel is great and the hotel is nice. The temperature in the room was difficult to control with the fireplace and the low ceilings. We had to open our balcony door to control the temperature in the room. The window would be better with a screen and so would the balcony door. We paid extra for a balcony room but, the balcony was filthy and not able to be enjoyed during our stay. A soda machine would be a plus at 2 am when you wake up overheated from the fireplace.

Room Tip: The cheaper rooms to the rear of the hotel are actually more quiet than the more expensive rooms with balconies.

This hotel is on the New Jersey side of the Delaware river and is in a great spot on the main drag to be able to check out most of the town in a walk up and down the street. There are many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance and a restaurant in the hotel that serves lunch and dinner but not breakfast. The room was nice, but I couldn’t get the temp down in the room. The fan kept running and would not get cool enough for me. Very nice staff and easy parking.

Due to a death in the family, I needed to change our reservations last minute. Lambertville House was so understanding and helpful. We have stayed here before and always enjoyed the location, room and amenities; however, the support offered when we had to cancel last minute was very impressive.

We stayed here for a small romantic getaway. We stayed here in 2009 and it has changed a little bit but is still every bit as gorgeous. We originally booked the carriage house, but there were ants in the room. The front desk quickly moved us and made up for it. We then hung out in our room and enjoyed a delicious cheese platter from the restaurant. Our only complaint is that the hotel’s restaurant isn’t open for breakfast and in order to make yourself coffee you have to go down the hall to a communal keurig. We love Lambertville and we will definitely return.

This was just the kinda place we look for!! From its beautiful front facade to its renovated rooms which still have a 1800's feel. We arrived in the are and quickly realized that because of the storm the previous day, everyone was hunkered down in hotels and bars which were all running on generators. After checking in we went down to the the bar which was standing room only!! We were able to sit out on their front porch area and have some drinks, the overhead heating out there was a plus. Our room was simply charming very new but very classy. The fireplace made it extremely cozy. I also enjoyed the in room hot tub that night. The bed was extremely comfortable and a variety of wine and goodies are in room to purchase. After complimentary coffee in the morning it was easy check out where our car was brought to us from the free valet service. Had a wonderful time! Don't forget to check out the Station House right across the street for good food and drinks. Adorable town...we will return!!
