My wife has fond memories from many years ago, so we dropped in to try it again. (first time for me)

We opted for an outdoor table, as it was too cold inside. The first table they led us to had food on the deck under my chair and the table. I asked for a different table, and suggested they clean up the food on the deck.

The newer table was better, no food on chairs, table or deck. Whew!

We each ordered a glass of wine. The white wine was good, but the red was not the proper temperature. My understanding of proper would be 60-68 degrees, but this red was closer to ambient temperature, maybe 75-80. The wine was good, the temp was wrong. At least 2 bottles of my red were overly warm, which leads me to believe they don't properly manage their red collection. It was a hot day outside, which could have had an influence? But the fact that their reds are not kept in a proper controlled environment is cause for concern.

OK, on to the meal! My wife had the seafood risotto dish, and I had the veal. Both were very good, but the asparagus was not properly prepared. The key to good asparagus is to peel the stringy outer layer from the lower part of each sprig. That had not been done. No one wants to get asparagus that is still stringy, and having to spit it out.

Overall, I feel like they just don't have attention to detail.

I had a stomach upset when we got home, and wife was nauseous the next morning. We can't say it was definitively the food, but it left us suspicious.

Would I return? No, for the money, I expect better.

Beautiful location and great service! The host was pleasant and sat us right away for our 8pm reservation. The waiter was great and the food was delicious. Loved the different dipping sauces for the calamari. The jambalaya was excellent! Definitely will return.

The food and service were very good, and the location is excellent, right near the bridge to New Hope. We sat in the outdoor patio, which was very nice on a beautiful day.

Meet an old friend and his date for dinner at the Lambertville Station. Seated as soon as we arrived. Somewhat limited menu, (was hoping for more seafood selections). Not really pub food, but close to it. Friendly waiter. Clean environment.

We used to often come to the Lambertville Station Restaurant bar in the summer to enjoy the fresh air, have a good meal and talk with each other. We tried to do that last night, on a lovely June evening.
When we arrived, we were surprised that they now have live music, a guy playing an electric guitar and singing, and way too loud for the space, in my opinion. We found 2 seats at the bar but too close to the music ... we would never be able to hear to talk to each other! My husband saw that there was one empty seat at the bar with room for another, so he asked the bartender if he could move one of the 2 seats there. The answer was an abrupt "no!". This was not at all the response we expected. Even if there was some reason that the seats can't be moved, some explanation would have been appreciated (and expected)!
This was not a friendly beginning to our evening, so we decided to leave. We won't be back.
