Last Sunday we made a reservation and arrived for breakfast at 9. When we left, no one else had yet come in. Perhaps part of the problem is that it's a new place and there aren't even hours posted in the window. The interior is very plain -- all white. We were surprised to see a brick pizza oven as the window menus said nothing about pizzas.

The food was excellent. I had a corned beef hash with poached eggs that was made from scratch and really delicious. My partner loved his pancakes. We also had coffee. The bill with tax and tip was about $32, so this is no cheap breakfast, but we still felt it was good value. It's BYOB and had we thought, it would have been nice to take our own jug of Bloody Marys!

The real shocker was that the waitress informed us at the beginning that it was CASH only for breakfast (even though the normally take credit cards). This seemed a very odd thing to us.

What a welcome addition to Lambertville! We found service to be professional, well informed on menu, and friendly. Seems like there are two seatings but we never felt rushed. The food was creative and extremely well executed. The owner/chef made the rounds among diners to insure satisfaction ( as we have seen in many places in France ). There are only about a dozen tables so be sure to make a reservation, especially on weekends.

We'd been to Rouget—chef Brian Held's previous restaurant—many times and never had a bad meal so we were really looking forward to the new menu at Brian's. We were not disappointed. There are a few carryovers from the old menu like the rich and delicious mushroom soup, but there are new things too. The foie gras served on a wedge of golden brioche and topped with a sweet cherry sauce was killer. The rabbit ragut served on homemade pasta was tender and rich and really filling.

Our visit came before the wood burning oven was in use. We're going back soon to see what comes out of that. There is talk of cassoulet...can't wait.

We wnt to Brian's for the first time while in town visiting family. We had a fabulous meal and experience. The food was fresh and delicious and the menu had a variety of choices all with a French flair. The decor is very clean and inviting and the wood fired oven provided a nice warmth and feel. The service was awesome, very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitly be back!

I was very disappointed in our dinner here. The wait staff was slow and unclear at best. The food was ok. Expected so much more for the price point. Loud . Took and hour to have salads served and dinner came out wrOng . Again wait staff was just unorganized and all over the place. The meatloaf was bland and salad boring. It's a sin number 9 closed . Wont head back here .
