What an fantastic restaurant in every sense. The ambiance, the service and the food all hit a home run. Our server was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. She made our experience an absolute pleasure. The real star though was the food. The menu is varied and interesting. We had clams casino, fried calamari, oysters in a Pernod sauce and Chilean Sea Bass. Everything was prepared to perfection. The Sea bass was my entree and was served in a light tomato based sauce with a hint a cumin. Delicious! I would say with confidence that this restaurant should be on any foodies list to visit. It's well worth the trip.

From the moment the host welcomed us in the front door until the end of the evening, everything was perfect. The excellent and experienced waitress made our meal even more enjoyable. Annata's is beautifully designed and has an upscale interior (the fabric upholstered chairs are really chic as well as comfortable, there's also a lot of wood accents in the room and bar). The menu had many interesting selections and additionally quite a few evening's specials, and an excellent wine list enclosed in a leather cover. And finally, last, but not least, the delicious meal, all made this dinner incredibly special and memorable. We'll definitely go back next time we're in the area. Even if you're not in the South Jersey area, it's worth the drive.

The little wine bar has a warm, intimate relaxed setting reminiscent of a restaurant in Europe. Wine less as expected is extensive featuring wines from many countries as well as from local wineries. Restaurant offers small and large plates priced accordingly.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner. There were four of us one of whom had wine with which she was very pleased -- a merlot. We all had different items ranging from porkloin, to ahi tuna, crab cake and soft shell crab. We all enjoyed our entrees. The cheeseboard was excellent as was the bread which was soft, warm and literally melt in your mouth. Very nice venue and lovely food with attentive, friendly service.

Our family has been visiting Annata for over seven years. We frequent this gem of a restaurant not only for the consistently high quality of the food, but for the creativity of the kitchen. Yes, there is a constant menu, tried and true dishes that have been so popular they do not leave the menu. But, there is also a menu that changes so frequently, depending on the chef, the season, the availability of local items, that it begs the customers to return just to see what they will be offered. And the staff has always been more than accommodating-- cheerful, efficient, skilled. Need a high quality restaurant while in Hammonton or just passing through this agricultural area of South Jersey? Don't pass up the opportunity to stop by. And, the wine bar is family owned and operated-- no chain-restaurant mentality at all.
