I was really looking forward to staying here for my 1 year anniversary but it ended up being the single worst hotel experience I've ever had. I probably wouldn't have written a review (as I never write reviews for anything) but when I called the manager, he continued to argue with me as if I was the one in the wrong. I will say, in the end, he gave me $50 back (off of my $400 bill) after asking me "what do you want me to do about it?". I am mostly writing to save you from a disastrous experience and hopefully you’ll spend your $400 a little more wisely than me. First thing - It's non-smoking. Never mind that though, because your room will probably smell like an ash tray. The rooms are in need of some terrible updating as there are pictures falling of the wall, things missing, wallpaper peeling, and carpet worn out and folding. The pictures on the website of the rooms are so deceptive as they are likely from 30 years ago when the hotel first opened. It's a hotel that you should probably spend $50 a night for, but end up spending $150/night. It’s really unfortunate that this hotel hasn’t been maintained because it really is a cool idea.
