I was lucky to find a seat in this busy restaurant on a Saturday night without a reservation.

The two specials of the day I had were both delightful. The breaded soft shell crab was quite large, with a small vegetable salad on the side.

Although not a big fan of fettuccine, I lapped it up and cleaned the plate. It was fresh and piping hot, with a laid-back tomato sauce. The generous helping of shrimps and mussels was quite filling.

Service was lightning fast - I was in and out in a little over half an hour.

Main Street in Chatham is not short of restaurants, but this certainly stands out. I have made a note to come back.

Thank alanayu

Very good local fare with excellent service.
Food is always good. Waiters are very attentive. We probably dine here on average about once a month and always enjoy our meals.

We had dinner on a Saturday night for 6:30. There were only a few tables occupied but by 7 it started to fill up and the noise level rose dramatically.
The service was good at the beginning but tapered off as the evening progressed.
For the appetizers we had the Caesar salad and the Calamari with a spicy marinara sauce. The calamari was the toughest that I ever had and could not eat it. The sauce was not spicy.
For the entrees we had the filet of Salmon and the Veal Scaloppini which included asparagus and sun dried tomatoes. It only had the stems but no buds. They could have thrown in a couple of buds to let you know that it was asparagus. Both entrees were very good.
I would have given a very good on the food except for how bad the calamari was.

The food is great, but the tables are very close to each other making it hard to talk at times. This place has truly excellent service

This lively place with friendly and attentive staff has really good offerings from start to finish. Definitely a good choice for a night out with friends or a family dinner. Seating is a little tight.BYO
