This was my first time at a B&B was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was,our room was very nice. The owner of the B&B went above and beyond to accommodate the guests. The breakfast was set up in the dinning room,it was a lovely gathering place for the guests first thing in the morning to start the day. Would definitely return and recommend that you try this B&B.

It was a nice place. Very friendly people who run the place. We thought that we would try a B&B. Was was highly recommended. It was very nice, but not our cup of tea. I would recommend it to people who like to stay at a B&B.

The Bedford Inn is located one short block from the beach, promenade, and very close to the restaurants and shops in the Mall. Many things are in walking distance. The room we had was the "Frances" on the second floor. Comfortable, private, Outside the room were coffee, tea, snacks, and a refrigerator. Porches to eat/relax on where on both 1st and 2nd floors.

Breakfasts were fantastic, particularly the French toast. One of the best I've ever had. Snacks, cookies, dips, wine, iced tea set out for late afternoon enjoyment.

Free street parking and limited spots on the side of the Bedford. Again, most places you can walk to.

Free beach chairs, towels, and outside showers available.

Finally, the owner, Archie. What a nice man. Very helpful; loads of local information. Easy to converse with. Makes sure you're enjoying yourself and have all that you need without being intrusive. On the morning we checked out, I told him we were going to the beach for a bit. He offered us use of the indoor bathrooms, and outside showers, towels, etc. for when we were done.

We've not been here before, but are now planning to make this an annual event.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 2nd floor and was very quiet.

Our third year here and we love it. The rooms are a bit old but that's what makes it charming. There is a downstairs indoor and outdoor porch and a second level porch. The location is perfect for Cape May. It is right by where the boardwalk starts to get busy. You are one block from the beach. The breakfast is yummy and homemade. Archie puts out a variety of items like muffins, fruit, egg dishes, cereal and more! Coffee is amazing. My husband says it's the best he has had here on the cape. We love using the outdoor showers after coming back from a day at the beach. Plenty of towels and beach chairs for everyone. There is also parking in the driveway although we always find a spot right on the street. A five minute walk to the main shops and we enjoy biking all over. Always a great stay. Consistency is important to us and we always find it here. The Bedford has been one of the reasons we love coming to Cape May.

We have been to the Bedford several times over the last 25 years! It's such a lovely B&B!!! The location is excellent as you're one block from the beach and within walking distance to many great restaurants/ Washington Mall. The Joseph Paige suite was wonderfully appointed with a comfy king sized bed. Our extended weekend stay couldn't have been nicer.

Archie is a wonderful host, who has continued to provide the utmost in hospitality! He goes out of his way to provide ease and comfort! The recipes for each breakfast are delicious!!! Archie, I love the baked pears!! We look forward to our next stay at the Bedford!!!
