Our first time there, 2/2012 for only 2 nights. Wish we had stayed longer and definitely will go back! Rustic, lodge styling, very cozy. We stayed in the Lodge in a room with private bath, as there were only the 2 of us. We could walk downstairs in our sweats and slippers to the bar. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, and the dining room has amazingly good food.

Room Tip: There is no pool, but you are steps from the lake. There's no fitness center, but it is an area loaded with outdoor activities. The lodge rooms upstairs are fine for a couple. And they have a quiet shared living area upstairs with mini fridge, micro and coffee maker. Larger groups have many cabins to choose from.

I spent 2 nights back in May 2011 at the Tall Timber Lodge with a group of friends (as well as my chihuahua!), and even though the weather wasn't so good, we had a wonderful time. We stayed in Hemlock #8, and loved the cabin. It was cozy and charming and right on the lake with a great view. We also made reservations at the Rainbow Grille & Tavern at the Lodge the second night we were there, and the food was great. We are hoping to make a trip to Tall Timber an annual tradition. Can't wait to go back! Thank you Tall Timber Lodge!

We spent just two short days at Tall Timbers over the holidays. I could not find one thing wrong. The cabin was perfect, the staff was great and the food, man words don't exsist to explain the food. We took a Jeep ride deep in the woods where every corner just looked better and better. We had a visit by a moose who just wanted to smell our jeep. We saw Moose, Dear and Turkey in the woods and fox and rabbit around the cabin. I can't wait to get back there.

My Fiance and I went to Tall Timber this past fall and stayed in the cabin named "Anglers Cove". This beautiful cabin was truly a luxury. Located right on the water you can't beat the views from the awesome deck/dock. They even provided a little motor boat just for our us. I'm sure this comes in handy for the fishermen but, we enjoyed our sunset cruises! Not knowing the area we relied on the staff for things to do while we were there. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. After long hikes everyday it was great to come back to our cabin and jump into the jacuzzi! We had an amazing meal at the Rainbow Grille (you have to try the Bacon Wrapped Scallops!!). We had such a wonderful trip that we decided we will be returning this summer for our WEDDING!! We are tying the knot right in front of the lodge! We couldn't imagine a greater place to get married!
